Dominic Tapper - CV
I have always been a creative and unusual young man who started carpentry at an early age. I was allowed to assemble furniture at home when I was a child, I built a few tree houses and built my first table when I was 12.
At school I was able to demonstrate my technical skills on different levels. I had the opportunity to put my skills to the test early on with sewing, knitting, crocheting and other activities through our crafts course.
In the 7th grade I was allowed to choose a boarding school where I was offered a carpentry course. Three times a week I had a double lesson in which we did carpentry.
A rocking horse was the first big project alongside many outdoor tables and benches.
After I went to Australia, Work and Travel, I was able to work for a carpenter in Perth for 4 months and learn new things about carpentry. After I continued traveling, it was clear to me that I wanted to do my training in Germany in order to fulfill myself in this career.

In Germany I then looked for a training company and enjoyed a 3-year training course.
I then went into business for myself and started working as a master carpenter.
I currently live in Canada and work here as a carpenter.
